RamadHan

Moslem is believe that Ramadhan is a holy month. During this month, all moslem around the world are fasting, which is no drinking and eating for about +/- 8 hours per day for one month. The main purpose why moslem fasting is to control their emotion so that we can be a better person inside and outside.
I am waiting for this month, because Allah SWT is promising thousands bless in this holy month. I know that basically, fasting is not an easy thing but as long as we start it with a good willing and did it for Allah than I hope everything will run smoothly as well.
I hope that all moslems around the world will get and received all the good things during ramadhan and at the and we can celebrate Idul Fitri together. Amin

Yoga

Nowadays I think Yoga is very common exercise. I am interesting to share about this in my today posting. According to wiki Yoga refers to traditional physical and mental disciplines originating in India. Outside India, yoga is mostly associated with the practice of asanas (postures) of Hatha Yoga or as a form of exercise. A practitioner of Yoga is called a Yogi (male) or Yogini (female). At swamij stated that there are Traditional Yoga and Modern Yoga.
Traditional view: To the ancients, Yoga is a complete system, of which the postures are a small, though quite useful part. The word "Yoga" referred to the whole, not merely one part, which is the postures, or Asanas. The entire purpose of Yoga is spiritual in nature, according to the ancient sages.
Modern view: In modern times, the relative position of the postures has been elevated, so as to lead people to believe that the word "Yoga" refers to physical postures or Asanas, and that the goal of these is physical fitness. The whole and the part have been reversed, terribly misleading and confusing people about the true nature of authentic Yoga.
Further, there is a question 'Is Yoga a Religion?' - for this question Swami has the answer - Yoga is not a religion and religion is not contained within Yoga. Yoga means union. It is the joining together the aspects of ourselves which were never divided in the first place.
I have been joining Yoga class for the past two weeks, well only once a week actually and so far I have learned that it is all about how to harmonize your mind and body. I've decided to join this Yoga is to feel new experience and take the positive impact by doing this.

CeleBrating Independence DaY

To celebrate our Independence Day, our office was held a gathering party. Every member of Tripper was being part of it. It was held on 10 August 2008, some games were held and I was joined one them – it is called ‘lomba makan krupuk’.

Celebrating Independent Day with gathering party is very common in Indonesia, in every corner of this country you can see that many people are held traditional games that perhaps you will never find it in the world such as ‘lomba panjat pinang’.

In this game, a group of man or women will try to get present that hang at the top of pinang’s tree. Ups, the process is not so easy because along the pinang’s tree is full with oil, it is so fun to watch it.

I am truly blessed being an Indonesian, no matter how long it will take - I believe that someday we will be a great country. I know that is not easy and we will meet many obstacles from inside and outside, but I guess that anything can happen, coz I am sure that in every single beat of Indonesian people, they are love their country as much as I did. Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka, and Long Life Indonesia

WhY JaPanese?

It is been almost 9 months I have learned new language which is Japanese aka Nihon-go. When I share this experience to my friends, their first question will be, why you've learn this language? second question, you must be look for Japanese man, aren't you?
Well actually, my basic reason is that I want to learn another language so that I can speak not only english but also other foreign language.
Further, another reason is that I like to watch Japanese dorama and I thought it would be great if I can understand the story without translation. About Japanese man? for sure I hope my future man is an Indonesian, but who knows - who is gonna be our destiny, just let God decided for me ;)
Learning Nihon-go is very excited, the way our sensei (teacher) teach us is good, I mean he never give us so much pressure but he make the learning time comfortable and everybody can enjoy it.
But of course I have face problems too, which is as I am an employee and quite difficult for me to spare time to study when I get back at home coz I feel tired sometime. And when the test time come, all I can do is recap all the material at once :D
One more thing, if I able to speak another language beside english it could help me to have more chance to work in hospitality field since there are lots of Japanese come to visit Bali every year ;)
